The fifth-largest marathon in the United States is an absolute bucket list race - not only because of the fireworks at the starting gun at night, but also because of the breathtaking scenery and the Hawaiian lifestyle on and off the course. The race has been timed with RACE RESULT technology since 2019 by our client Pacific Sport Events and Timing in collaboration with Sportstats, the largest timing company in North America. The 25,000+ athletes carry Tyvek® bibs with one passive transponder on the back. In total, the team deploys 30 timing systems plus Track Boxes at start, finish and split points. Live timing data is published from each split point.

Highest Detection Rates
Our sports-optimized UHF timing algorithms ensure industry-leading read rates, even at high-density starts and busy split points.
The marathon is timed at start and finish, and also at the 10K, 20K, half marathon, 30K, and 40K split points. A main and a backup system are used for the important start and finish times. All systems are synchronized via the integrated GPS receiver. Split timing points upload the data using a SIM card and mobile network.
All detections are received on the finish line, and live results are published on my.raceresult.com, allowing the public to follow their racer.
In RACE RESULT 12, use the template "Major Event with Start+Splits+Finish". This template offers the basic principle of such an event outline. Amend the template according to your needs and the splits you offer.

The cutting-edge timing system designed for superior performance and versatility. Boasts exceptional weatherproofing, lightweight design, and up to 32 hours battery life. Data is transmitted in real-time through multiple options, including SIM, Ethernet, POE, or USB-C connections.
Ubidium Foldable Ground Antenna
Delivers unprecedented flexibility and the highest detection rates. Each element contains a specially developed RACE RESULT UHF reader. The mat connects directly to Ubidium. It can be adjusted in length as desired, up to 23 meters per system (30 segments).
Bib with Transponder
UHF transponders specially developed for sports timekeeping. Praised by customers worldwide for highest detection rates. The accuracy is 0.2 s. Transponders are available on roll or ready-attached to a customized, personallized Tyvek bib.
