Each participant receives a passive transponder, which is attached to the outside of his vehicle. Two high-gain antennas are set up at the finish line using tripods. Both antennas are connected to the same decoder.
When crossing the timing line, the transponders are detected and the times are sent live to the timing software. Alternatively, the data can be forwarded to third-party solutions.
The RACE RESULT 12 software allows for easy evaluation of lap times. Drivers can be grouped into performance levels and lap times can be published.
Additional software tools allow for participant check-in on-site or status reports before heading out onto the track via tablets or smartphones.
Decoder
Receives the signals from the transponders, calculates the exact finish time and provides the data to the scoring software like RACE RESULT 12 in real time. Internal battery for 8-10 hours, integrated 4G module, precise GPS time, 2 ethernet ports.
High Gain Antenna
With high signal power these antennas provide long range and high precision. Please note: High Gain Antennas can currently only be connected to RACE RESULT Decoders, not to our new timing system Ubidium!

Passive Transponder
UHF transponders specially developed for sports timekeeping. Praised by customers worldwide for highest detection rates. The accuracy is 0.2 s. Transponders are available on roll or ready-attached to a customized, personallized Tyvek bib.
